Li Auto Inc. disclosed a fresh share repurchase executed on 10 August 2026, acquiring 502,306 Class A weighted-voting-right (WVR) ordinary shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market. The company paid a volume-weighted average price of USD 6.41 per share, within a daily range of USD 6.37–6.46, for a total cash outlay of USD 3.22 million.
Following the transaction, Li Auto’s shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.029 % to 1.73 billion, while treasury shares rose to 87.24 million. The total share count remains unchanged at 1.82 billion as the repurchased shares are being held in treasury rather than cancelled.
The buyback formed part of the repurchase mandate approved on 29 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 214.28 million shares. Including the latest transaction, Li Auto has repurchased 67.64 million shares under this mandate, equivalent to 3.16 % of the company’s issued share base as of the mandate date.
In accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Li Auto is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or disposals of treasury shares until 9 September 2026.
