KANGJI MEDICAL (09997) announced that SOMERLEY CAP Limited, a licensed corporation authorized to conduct Type 1 (securities dealing) and Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, has been appointed as the independent financial advisor. The advisor will provide recommendations to the independent board committee regarding whether the terms of the proposal, the scheme, and the special transactions are fair and reasonable, as well as advising on voting matters. The appointment of the independent financial advisor has been approved by the independent board committee in accordance with Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code.
