(FUDANZHANGJIANG) announced that the first patient has been enrolled in the Phase I clinical trial of FZ-P001 Sodium for Injection, an innovative photosensitizer intended for intraoperative visualization of malignant lesions during ovarian cancer surgery.

FZ-P001 is a class 1 new molecular entity designed as a folate receptor-targeted small-molecule conjugate linked to a cyanine-based photosensitizer. By binding to tumor tissues overexpressing folate receptor alpha (FRα), the drug enables near-infrared fluorescence imaging aimed at improving the detection of residual tumor tissue and surgical margins.
