DYNAM JAPAN HOLDINGS (06889) announced revenue of ¥61,718 million for the six-month period ended 30 September 2025, reflecting a 3.2% decrease compared to the same period in the prior year. Profit before income taxes rose 23.5% year on year to ¥4,417 million, while net profit attributable to owners of the Company jumped 40.3% to ¥3,072 million. Basic earnings per share amounted to ¥4.4, and an interim dividend of ¥2.5 per ordinary share was declared.
During the reporting period, the total number of pachinko halls operated reached 423, compared to 429 previously. Revenue from the pachinko business was ¥58,273 million, down by 3.2% year on year, with low playing cost halls showing a slight rise in gross pay-ins but overall lower margins compared to the previous year.
The Group also reported that its aircraft leasing segment recorded revenue of ¥3,445 million, reflecting a 3.7% year-on-year decrease. As of 30 September 2025, it owned 10 aircraft and managed 8 additional aircraft plus 1 engine, with an average aircraft age of 3.4 years and a yield of 8.8% for its owned fleet.
Management noted that personal consumption remained cautious amid rising energy and food costs and a weaker yen. Within the wider pachinko industry, while the number of players is expected to rise slightly, smaller operators face continued consolidation. The company’s strategy focuses on multiple-hall development, low operating costs, and a balanced approach to both high playing cost and low playing cost halls.
The Board confirmed that the interim dividend of ¥2.5 per ordinary share is payable on 14 January 2026 to shareholders on record as of 16 December 2025. The results have been reviewed by the external auditor and the audit committee.
