关税成本正在给星座品牌带来压力。
这家Modelo啤酒制造商目前预计本财年啤酒业务将面临7000万美元的关税相关成本，酒类业务则将承担2000万美元的费用。
星座品牌首席执行官Bill Newlands在接受采访时表示，不断上升的关税成本主要与铝材征收有关，啤酒制造商使用铝材制作啤酒罐。6月份，特朗普总统对进口铝材实施了50%的关税。
该公司此前表示将因关税而面临2000万美元的损失。
星座品牌第二季度净销售额为24.8亿美元，较去年同期的29.2亿美元有所下降。消费者正在收紧钱包，特别是拉美裔消费者——这是星座品牌啤酒的核心消费群体。
不过，该公司的啤酒出货量好于预期。股价在午后交易中上涨0.6%。
