Meituan-W (03690.HK) officially commenced its 2026 spring campus recruitment campaign on March 2nd. The hiring initiative is expected to recruit up to 6,000 graduates from the class of 2026 and offer over 3,000 internship positions with conversion opportunities for the class of 2027. The recruitment covers more than 100 roles across 10 major categories including technology, product management, business analysis, operations, finance, retail, corporate functions, marketing, design, sales, customer service, and support. These positions are available in dozens of cities globally, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Dubai. Eligible students can submit applications through Meituan's official recruitment website or its WeChat public account starting immediately, with the online application period continuing until the end of May.

Focusing on technical and management talent development, Meituan has simultaneously launched three specialized programs. Under its commitment to campus recruitment and talent cultivation, the company has consistently conducted large-scale campus hiring activities. In recent years, Meituan has onboarded an average of over 6,000 new graduates annually across all business units and position sequences. A company representative stated that beyond regular positions, this year's spring recruitment features three special programs designed to systematically recruit and develop core talent for key business areas.

The "Beidou Program," which recruits top global technology graduates year-round, focuses on cutting-edge fields including large language model infrastructure, LLM applications, autonomous driving, drones, and intelligent decision-making systems. The program offers extensive practical application scenarios, comprehensive training mechanisms, and uncapped compensation packages to provide young tech talent with substantial growth opportunities. Since its inception in 2017, the Beidou Program has attracted hundreds of industry experts and top conference paper authors.

Lin Hang, a drone systems engineer who joined through the program, noted that Meituan's strongest appeal lies in its ability to implement technology in real-world applications. "Every researcher hopes their work can be practically applied, and Meituan provides that platform," he said, describing the fulfillment of seeing medical test samples delivered via drone routes address urgent healthcare needs.

This year, Meituan introduced the "Food & Grocery Retail Management Trainee Program" to develop high-potential retail management talent. Through systematic, immersive training, management trainees will gain frontline experience to rapidly understand industry fundamentals. The program outlines clear rotation and growth paths, with trainees potentially advancing to district manager within two years and to city manager or other core functional roles within four years. Additionally, Meituan launched its "Overseas Business Campus Recruitment Program" to build international talent reserves for its global operations.

Meituan has established a comprehensive training system for new graduates, featuring dedicated mentorship and the "Meituan Sprout Campus Graduate Growth Program." The company provides diverse practical experience through various roles and internal mobility mechanisms, along with international workplace settings to facilitate career planning. A recruitment representative emphasized Meituan's significant investment in knowledge management and talent development, maintained through extensive internal knowledge bases, online learning platforms with tens of thousands of courses, and diverse training programs.

Xin Yi, a 2024 graduate now responsible for vegetable supply planning for Ele.me Fresh Supermarket in East China, has managed several key projects as the regional supply chain lead. "The company provides ample room for trial and error, allowing newcomers like me to be seen and respected," she noted. Another graduate, Li Qingtian, became a campus recruitment mentor within two years of joining. "My mentor held weekly one-on-one sessions to help me transition and integrate into the team. Now I do the same for new hires," Qingtian said, affirming that Meituan offers substantial growth opportunities and patience for young talent.

According to company data, over 70% of graduates in technical, product, and business analysis roles achieve their first promotion within one year, typically becoming team backbone members within two years. "We believe continuous campus recruitment and development are crucial for organizational building and future talent preparation," a Meituan representative stated, highlighting the company's commitment to social responsibility through helping graduates become outstanding professionals. An increasing number of graduates are rapidly advancing under Meituan's diverse and systematic training framework.
