China Everbright Water Limited said on May, 27 2026 that Shanghai Brilliance Credit Rating & Investors Service has reaffirmed the “AAA” credit rating assigned to the company and to all outstanding tranches of its issued medium-term notes (MTNs).
The ratings cover seven tranches of MTNs issued between 2023 and 2025, which together represent an aggregate principal value of about 1.6 billion Singapore dollars. The reaffirmation leaves the ratings unchanged from those disclosed in the company’s earlier announcements.
Shanghai Brilliance also released an updated follow-up credit rating report on the MTNs and the issuer. The document is available on the websites of Beijing Financial Assets Exchange, Shanghai Clearing House and China Foreign Exchange Trade System National Interbank Funding Center.
The MTNs were placed with institutional investors in China’s national inter-bank bond market, with maturities ranging from 2023 to 2025. According to the company, approximately 0.18 billion Singapore dollars of the first 2023 tranche remains outstanding.
No further changes to the credit profile of the issuer or the instruments were reported.
