MEDIALINK GROUP (02230) has announced the upcoming launch of its self-initiated "Large-scale IP Flagship Event" (hereinafter referred to as "the Event"), fully organized by the Group and planned and prepared for over a year by its subsidiary, CON-CON (HK) Limited. Named "CON-CON HONG KONG 2026," which stands for Convention for Connection, this event marks Hong Kong, China's first large-scale IP flagship event with a global focus. It will integrate intellectual property (IP) licensed by the Group with new partners from various sectors. By merging cross-border entertainment and cultural exchange, the Event will showcase the latest IP and popular culture through concerts, lecture dialogues, fan meetings, and new product launches, thereby redefining traditional event formats. This annual mega-event will debut in Hong Kong, with plans to gradually expand its reach across Asia, dedicated to promoting IP, popular culture, ACG (Anime, Comics, Games) culture, and cross-over collaborations between renowned IP and brands. This represents a new platform invested in and created by the Group to display its achievements in IP exchange and cross-sector collaboration. The Event is scheduled to take place on April 4th to 5th, 2026 (Saturday to Sunday) at the AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong International Airport. This event aims to create a comprehensive, IP-led celebration, bringing together musical performances, immersive IP interactive experiences, industry lectures and networking events, and merchandise sales. The program will include concerts featuring renowned singers from Hong Kong, China, and overseas, offering a rich, diverse, and dynamic entertainment experience for all participants. Furthermore, the Event will feature an IP Experience Zone, presented through diverse interactions and immersive experiences, allowing visitors to deeply explore the Group's IP universe. The Event will also gather renowned speakers from the entertainment, animation, and creative industries for engaging on-stage dialogues and insightful sharing sessions. Concurrently, there will be an anime-themed merchandise zone selling a variety of related peripheral goods and other products. Additionally, the Board of Directors believes this event serves as a significant milestone for the Group's long-term strategic development, promoting a diversified revenue mix, strengthening the value of its licensed IP, and fostering cross-industry collaboration. It reflects the Group's commitment to expanding and investing in its IP ecosystem and establishing a regularly operated flagship IP platform to drive future growth in the creative entertainment business. This initiative also aligns with the new business development direction outlined in the Group's second 5-year strategic plan and its globalization strategy roadmap.
