Vietnam Airlines Places Order for 50 Boeing 737-8 Aircraft, Negotiates for 30 More

Vietnam Airlines announced on Thursday that it has signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase 50 narrow-body 737-8 aircraft. In a statement, the national carrier also revealed it is in discussions with the U.S. aircraft manufacturer to acquire an additional 30 wide-body planes, in a deal valued at up to $12 billion.
