On 13 February 2026, Future Bright Holdings Limited (703), through its wholly owned subsidiary Restaurante Chun Ieng Limitada (Chun Ieng), signed an agreement granting Chun Ieng the right to use Unit No. F110A at City of Dreams in Macau. COD Resorts Limited (the Operator), ultimately owned by Melco International Development Limited (200), will allow Chun Ieng to continue operating a Japanese restaurant under the “Edo Japanese Restaurant” name.
Under this five-year arrangement, the monthly fee will be either MOP200,000 or a turnover-based amount ranging from 12% to 14%, whichever is higher. Monthly management fees are set at MOP79,646.30, and Chun Ieng will also cover utility and other related charges. Upon signing, Chun Ieng must provide a deposit of MOP279,646.30, an additional fit-out deposit of MOP100,000, and a bank guarantee of MOP838,938.90. The agreement includes a 150-day fit-out period, and the trading start date begins once these initial works are complete or upon expiration of the 150 days.
Future Bright Holdings Limited has operated an Edo Japanese Restaurant at the same property since 2009, noting satisfactory past performance. With three Edo Japanese Restaurant locations in Macau, the continuation at City of Dreams aims to support stable turnover. According to Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) 16, the right to use the premises will be recognized as an acquisition of right-of-use assets at approximately HK$8.53 million, applying an annual discount rate of 8.41%. The board confirms that this transaction meets the criteria of a discloseable transaction, exceeding 5% but below 25% in applicable percentage ratios, thus requiring an announcement but not shareholder approval under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules.
