Dongjiang Environmental Company Limited (00895) announced that the company has submitted a capital increase subscription application for Embodied Intelligence to the Guangdong United Property Rights Exchange Center and recently received a "Capital Increase Result and Organization Signing Notice" from the exchange, confirming the company as the project investor with an investment amount of RMB 8 million and a subscribed registered capital of RMB 8 million.
Embodied Intelligence was established according to the "Notice on the Construction Plan for the '1+1+N' Embodied Intelligence Training Ground System in Guangdong Province" issued by the Office of the Leading Group for the Innovative Development of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry in Guangdong Province (the first "1" refers to one core hub in Guangdong, namely the Guangdong Provincial Embodied Intelligence Training Ground; the second "1" refers to one demonstration window in Shenzhen, the Shenzhen Embodied Intelligence Demonstration Zone; and "N" refers to multiple vertical sub-training grounds).
The initiative follows a path of "government guidance, demand traction, phased implementation, and continuous iteration" to build a large-scale, high-quality, multi-scenario embodied intelligence information collection, establish a full-chain technical capability from training to application for embodied intelligence, promote the extension of robotics from industrial automation to diverse scenarios such as urban services, smart homes, and medical wellness, accelerate the transition of technology from the laboratory to large-scale mass production, and coordinate the linkage and integration of training resources and data within Guangdong Province.
By 2027, the goal is to build a "1+1+N" embodied intelligence training ground system with significant characteristic advantages in Guangdong, outstanding comprehensive service capabilities, and a demonstrative industry benchmark effect, forming a pioneering "Guangdong Solution" with exemplary leadership, positioning Guangdong as a global innovation hub for embodied intelligence, a source of embodied intelligence standards, and a leading manufacturing base for scaled applications.
The development direction of embodied intelligence belongs to a government-supported and encouraged field, allowing the company to seize a valuable opportunity through this capital increase and participate in the development of embodied intelligence.
The construction period for the Embodied Intelligence project is two years, primarily divided into two phases.
The first phase of construction involves initial setup: firstly, the capacity building of the main training ground, including the training layer, testing layer, scenario layer, service layer, and daily operations, among other aspects; secondly, the basic capabilities of the management center, mainly including the information management center, standard formulation and verification, infrastructure, and other capabilities.
The second phase of construction primarily involves advancing and perfecting the various capabilities of the embodied intelligence training ground, carrying out normalized operations, and completing all construction tasks.
It is expected that Embodied Intelligence will commence operations and business development after completing the capital increase.
Participating in the capital increase and expansion of Embodied Intelligence through a public listing method aligns with the company's operational philosophy of continuously enhancing enterprise operational efficiency through digitalization and intelligentization, conforms to the company's strategic positioning of accelerating its development into an outstanding comprehensive environmental service provider and a leading enterprise in the resource recycling industry, is conducive to the company's integration into the provincial industrial innovation ecosystem, allows for the full utilization of shareholder resource advantages, and helps to break the "technology-scenario-application" dead cycle through participation in the training ground construction, providing a strategic pivot for the digital transformation of the company's environmental protection business.
As a pioneer in the hazardous waste treatment and disposal industry, the company possesses extensive practical experience in multi-production base scale management and full-process production operations.
By collaborating with Embodied Intelligence, the company expects to leverage its accumulated information resources and technical reserves to generate valuable solutions that meet the dual demands of internal lean production and external market expansion.
