Suzhou Zelgen Biopharmaceuticals Co.,Ltd. (688266.SH) has announced its half-year financial results for 2026, achieving a significant turnaround to profitability. The company reported total revenue of 1.205 billion yuan for the period, marking a substantial increase of 220.88% year-over-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 640 million yuan, a dramatic reversal from the net loss recorded in the same period of the previous year.

Excluding non-recurring items, the company's core net profit stood at 617 million yuan, also swinging from a loss to a profit. Basic earnings per share for the period were 2.42 yuan.

The remarkable surge in revenue was primarily driven by the recognition of 662 million yuan from product technology licensing and authorization agreements during the reporting period. Additionally, sales revenue from the company's commercialized products grew by 44.30% compared to the same period last year.

Reflecting this improved financial health, net assets attributable to shareholders of the listed company increased by 59.24% year-over-year. This marks the first time the company has achieved a half-year profit since its inception, which has correspondingly boosted its net asset base. As a result, both basic and diluted earnings per share, as well as the weighted average return on net assets, have turned positive from negative figures.
