Scholar Education Executes HK$0.83 Million Share Buyback Under Award Scheme

Scholar Education Group disclosed that its scheme trustee acquired 690,000 shares on 8 June 2026 through on-market transactions under the group’s existing share award scheme. The purchase represents approximately 0.10% of the company’s issued share capital.

The shares were bought at an average price of about HK$1.21, bringing the total consideration, excluding transaction costs, to roughly HK$0.83 million. Following the transaction, the trustee’s holding rose to 24.72 million shares, equal to 3.67% of the company’s total outstanding shares.

The board stated that the current market price significantly undervalues Scholar Education’s fundamentals and reiterated confidence in the business outlook. Management will continue monitoring market conditions and may instruct further purchases for the share award scheme when appropriate.

Scholar Education’s board will separately determine the quantity and vesting conditions of any future share awards allotted to selected participants. Chairman and executive director Chen Qiyuan signed the announcement dated 8 June 2026.
