Haidian District has signed agreements with seven universities and research institutes to deepen collaborative educational development between schools and institutions, establishing a "basic education + higher education" joint talent cultivation system that ensures every primary and secondary school has university "mentor" support. Meanwhile, the district has established an AI Education Development Alliance to promote deep integration of artificial intelligence technology in educational settings and resource coordination.
Haidian District will build a "basic education + universities + high-tech enterprises" joint cultivation system, creating a resource network where "every primary and secondary school is backed by a university, a laboratory, and a technology company," forming an integrated innovation engine that deeply integrates education, technology, and talent.
The collaborative cultivation system between basic education and higher education is now being implemented. Currently, the district has signed agreements with seven universities and research institutes, including Renmin University of China, Beihang University, and the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. These partnerships will involve deep cooperation in ideological and political education, science education, teacher training, and curriculum development, jointly creating a comprehensive talent cultivation chain connecting primary, secondary, and higher education.
With the launch of Haidian Education's "Zhiqi" intelligent system, the district's "AI + Education" integration model has entered a new phase. The newly established AI Education Development Alliance comprises universities, primary and secondary schools, and technology companies. It will advance AI education across all academic levels, implement a "dual mentor + dual base" cultivation model, expand application scenarios including smart canteens and smart sports facilities, and create innovative practice models for AI-empowered comprehensive educational transformation.
Additionally, the district will establish technology-focused high schools and AI laboratories, cultivate teachers who excel in integrating AI with basic education, and develop young people with scientific potential who master AI thinking tools and dare to explore and innovate. By 2027, the district plans to become a nationally leading "AI + Science Education" integrated innovation demonstration zone and an early cultivation hub for outstanding innovative talent.
Furthermore, Haidian District will improve its industry-education integrated vocational education system, create "15-minute learning service circles," build a district-wide learning society resource database, and implement an all-age, all-region "night school program," forming a comprehensive lifelong learning service system that operates around the clock, across all venues, with complete coverage.
