Nexteer Automotive Group Limited reported record-high revenue of USD 4.58 billion for FY 2025, up 7.21% year on year, outpacing the 3.7% growth in global light-vehicle production. Adjusted for currency effects and commodity pass-throughs, top-line expansion was 6.90%.
Gross profit rose 16.61% to USD 523.01 million, lifting the gross margin to 11.41% (2024: 10.49%). Operating profit advanced 41.60% to USD 162.50 million, while net profit attributable to shareholders increased 65.27% to USD 102.00 million, equivalent to USD 0.041 per share. Adjusted EBITDA climbed 11.18% to USD 471.86 million, raising the EBITDA margin to 10.30%.
Regional performance • North America: Revenue grew 4.43% to USD 2.29 billion despite a 1.0% decline in regional vehicle production, driven by programme outperformance. • Asia Pacific: Revenue increased 9.80% to USD 1.47 billion, fuelled by new launches and a 10.7% rise in China’s vehicle output. • EMEASA: Revenue advanced 11.41% to USD 798.90 million, aided by conquest programmes and favourable euro translation.
Product mix Electric Power Steering remained the growth engine, contributing USD 3.13 billion (68.29% of revenue) after an 8.39% sales increase. Driveline Systems added USD 809.75 million, up 5.00%. Steering Columns & Intermediate Shafts and Hydraulic Power Steering accounted for 10.11% and 3.97% of revenue respectively.
Cash flow & balance sheet Operating cash inflow was USD 404.93 million (-9.25% YoY) as higher earnings were offset by lower programme-cancellation recoveries and tax refunds. Capital expenditure and capitalised development totalled USD 257.57 million, keeping free cash flow positive at USD 123.94 million. Year-end cash and cash equivalents increased to USD 500.72 million (2024: USD 422.28 million), while total borrowings inched up to USD 49.81 million, leaving gearing at 2.31%. Total equity reached USD 2.16 billion.
Dividend The board proposes a final dividend of USD 0.0183 per share (approximately 45% payout of 2025 attributable profit), subject to shareholder approval at the 17 June 2026 AGM; record date is 29 June 2026 with payment slated for 9 July 2026.
Operational highlights • Launched 57 programmes in 2025, of which 42 were new or conquest awards and 36 were for electric vehicles. • Secured USD 4.90 billion in lifetime bookings; 69% from EPS products and 50% linked to fully electric or mixed EV/ICE platforms. • Workforce totalled about 12,500 full-time employees, supplemented by 1,800 contract staff.
Outlook Management targets continued market outperformance by leveraging its depth in advanced steering, driveline and driver-assist technologies, supported by a global manufacturing footprint and robust R&D capabilities.
No material post-balance-sheet events were noted beyond ongoing U.S. collective bargaining negotiations and the refinancing of a revolving credit facility, now maturing in March 2027.
