Magnificent Hotel (MHI) and Shun Ho Property (SHP) extend circular dispatch to 13 August 2026 amid additional due-diligence work

Magnificent Hotel Investments Limited (MHI) and Shun Ho Property Investments Limited (SHP) have jointly announced a second postponement in sending shareholders the circulars relating to the connected transfer of SHP shares and the potential off-market share buy-back.

The two companies had originally scheduled dispatch of their respective documents for 30 June 2026, following an earlier delay disclosed on 1 June 2026. They now target a revised deadline of on or before 13 August 2026.

For MHI, extra time is needed to complete property valuation reports and the independent financial adviser’s opinion on the proposed share buy-back. Similarly, SHP has sought — and received an indication of approval from the Securities and Futures Commission’s Executive — to extend its deadline to the same date, citing the same documentation requirements under the Takeovers Code.

The share buy-back and the related special cash dividend remain subject to the conditions set out in the original 10 May 2026 announcement; there is no assurance either will proceed. Both boards advise shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the companies’ securities.
