C.banner International Holdings Limited released a positive profit alert, indicating an expected net profit attributable to equity holders of about RMB7.00 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. In the comparable period of 2025, the group posted a net loss of roughly RMB142.00 million, marking a swing of around RMB149.00 million year-on-year.
Management attributed the turnaround to two main factors:
1. Non-recurrence of a one-off impairment: A substantial impairment provision against trade debt owed by Mayflower (Nanjing) Enterprises Limited was booked in the first half of 2025 but did not recur in 2026.
2. Operational restructuring: The group intensified optimisation of its footwear business by reshaping the internal organisation and closing or revamping persistently underperforming or loss-making stores, which collectively lifted operating performance.
The figures are based on unaudited management accounts. Finalised interim results for the period to 30 June 2026 are slated for release before the end of August 2026. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in C.banner shares, as the disclosed numbers remain subject to audit and possible revision.
