Recent data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals that on February 13, a shareholder of OKURA HOLDINGS (01655) deposited shares into Uptick Securities. The deposited shares have a market value of HK$18.87 million, representing 13.38% of the holdings.

Separately, OKURA HOLDINGS (01655) announced on February 13 that it has completed the placement of 84.98 million shares at HK$0.143 per share. The net proceeds raised amounted to approximately HK$10.38 million. The company plans to allocate about 50% of the funds for the purchase of Japanese pachinko and pachislot machines, and 30% for the renovation or upgrade of its existing pachinko parlors and related marketing expenses. The remaining 20% will be used for the group's general working capital purposes.
