DAHON TECH H1 2026 Revenue Climbs 53.7% and Net Profit Jumps 72.3%; Interim Dividend Announced

DAHON TECH posted solid mid-year results, reporting a 53.7% year-on-year revenue increase to RMB 489.71 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. Gross profit rose 61.4% to RMB 172.20 million, lifting gross margin 1.7 percentage points to 35.2%.\n\nNet profit attributable to shareholders advanced 72.3% to RMB 66.92 million, driving net margin to 13.2%. Management cited surging online direct sales on domestic platforms (+84.3%), robust demand for high-end folding bicycles, and continued overseas expansion as principal growth catalysts.\n\nOperating cash inflow reached RMB 197.86 million, while cash and cash equivalents stood at RMB 527.66 million at period-end. The company remained debt-free, with a gearing ratio of 10.7% driven solely by lease liabilities. Capital expenditure totalled RMB 1.41 million, and R&D spending increased 32% to RMB 12.75 million as DAHON TECH advanced its proprietary “DAHON-V” technology suite and patented tri-folding structures.\n\nSelling and distribution costs expanded 54% to RMB 55.60 million amid intensified marketing, and administrative expenses rose 72% to RMB 26.38 million, reflecting strategic consulting fees and personnel additions. Despite higher operating costs, profitability improved due to scale gains and a richer product mix.\n\nThe board declared an interim dividend of RMB 1.224 per share (total payout: RMB 40.13 million), subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming extraordinary general meeting. Earlier in March the company distributed a final dividend of RMB 1.118 per share for FY 2025.\n\nPost-period developments include shareholder approval (14 August 2026) for amendments to the Articles of Association, abolition of the Board of Supervisors, and election of a new seven-member Board. In addition, on 26 August 2026 the Board approved an H-share full-circulation plan to convert 13.23 million domestic shares (40.35% of issued capital) into H-shares, pending regulatory and shareholder approval.\n\nDAHON TECH reaffirmed its strategic priorities for the second half: accelerate high-end product launches, strengthen omnichannel sales, expand global distribution, advance “DAHON-V” technology, and safeguard capacity through continued investment in the Huizhou plant and supply-chain partnerships.
