Thakral Corporation Ltd (T04) reported on Nov, 06 2025 that profit attributable to equity holders for the nine months ended Sep, 30 2025 jumped 767 % year on year to 128.8 million Singapore dollars, lifted by a 146.6 million Singapore dollar fair-value gain arising from the July 2025 initial public offering of GemLife Communities Group on the Australian Securities Exchange.
Revenue for the nine-month period rose 35 % to 276.4 million Singapore dollars, driven mainly by a 28 % expansion of the Lifestyle segment to 254.4 million Singapore dollars and a 22.6 million Singapore dollar fair-value gain on GemLife securities recorded in 3Q2025. Group gross margin improved to 21.7 % from 17.2 % a year earlier.
Segment results showed Investments contributing 129.8 million Singapore dollars, up 628 % year on year, while Lifestyle delivered 13.0 million Singapore dollars, up 27 %. Contributions from associates, including GemLife operations up to Jun, 30 2025, rose 21 % to 15.6 million Singapore dollars.
As at Sep, 30 2025, net asset value stood at 2.28 Singapore dollars per share, compared with 2.12 Singapore dollars at Jun, 30 2025. Total assets were 557.2 million Singapore dollars, and net assets were 336.2 million Singapore dollars. Cash and bank balances increased to 27.1 million Singapore dollars, while the debt-equity ratio was 0.28.
During the quarter Thakral completed the sale of the Yotsubashi Nakano Building in Osaka for 5.3 billion Japanese yen, 13.7 % above book value, generating a net attributable gain of about 2 million Singapore dollars and cash proceeds of 6.4 million Singapore dollars.
Post-quarter, on Oct, 08 2025, The Beauty Tech Group listed on the London Stock Exchange. Thakral reduced its stake to 6.04 % from 9.55 %, disposing of 2.86 million shares and receiving 13.1 million Singapore dollars in proceeds, resulting in a total financial uplift of 28.5 million Singapore dollars at the IPO price.
Management said the group will continue to expand its Lifestyle distribution activities in South Asia, advance drone-related manufacturing and software ventures in India, and pursue real estate projects in Gurugram and Japan while capturing recurring income from GemLife.
