富国银行首席执行官查理·沙夫指出，目前消费者与企业的财务状况依然稳健。他在与分析师的电话会议中表示："消费者支出较一年前有所增加，其中汽油开支占比上升，但其他领域的消费并未出现放缓。"沙夫透露，在伊朗战争爆发前，汽油消费约占借记卡总支出的6%、信用卡总支出的4%；而当前这一比例已分别升至7%和5%。他补充道："需注意低收入家庭的汽油支出占比更高。"沙夫进一步分析称："历史数据显示，消费者通常需要数月时间才能通过削减其他品类支出来应对油价上涨。虽然具体时间表尚不明确，但我们预计今年下半年将出现类似调整。"
