PLANETREE INT'L (00613) has announced that the Group expects to record a pre-tax profit of approximately HK$30 million for the 2025 fiscal year. This represents a significant improvement compared to the pre-tax loss of approximately HK$212 million recorded for the year ended December 31, 2024 (2024 fiscal year). The anticipated profit for the 2025 fiscal year is primarily attributable to the following factors: a net unrealized gain on financial assets at fair value through profit or loss of approximately HK$150 million; a reversal of impairment losses on receivables from margin loans of approximately HK$37 million; a share of profit from an associate of approximately HK$48 million; a net realized loss on the disposal of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss of approximately HK$81 million; and a net fair value loss on investment properties of approximately HK$94 million.
