ENN Energy: BlackRock Raises Stake to 6.24% in Latest Takeover-Code Filing

ENN Energy Holdings Ltd. disclosed that BlackRock, Inc.—classified as a Class (6) associate under the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers—adjusted its shareholding on 28 May 2026 while the utility remains subject to privatisation via a scheme of arrangement.

BlackRock sold 1,564 shares at USD 54.25 each and, on the same day, purchased 327,860 shares at the identical price. The net addition of 326,296 shares lifted BlackRock’s aggregate holding to 70.64 million shares, representing 6.24 % of ENN Energy’s issued share capital, up from 6.21 % before the transactions. All dealings were executed on a U.S. exchange for discretionary investment clients.

The disclosure was lodged pursuant to Rule 22 of the Hong Kong Takeovers Code, which mandates daily reporting of dealings by associates during an active offer period.
