China Southern Airlines to Inject 45 Billion Yuan into Subsidiary Chongqing Airlines

China Southern Airlines Company Limited (600029.SH) has announced a unilateral capital injection of 4.5 billion yuan into its subsidiary, Chongqing Airlines Co., Ltd. Following this investment, the company's stake in Chongqing Airlines will increase to 91.47%. The other shareholder, Chongqing Urban Transportation Development Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., will not participate in this capital increase. This move aligns with the national strategic plan for the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. It is expected to enhance the company's market influence in the southwestern region, support Chongqing Airlines in improving its fleet structure, optimizing its financial condition, and strengthening its risk resilience.
