CHAMPION TECH (00092) has announced its interim results for the six-month period ended December 31, 2025. The company recorded revenue of HK$33.52 million, representing an increase of 54.76% compared to the same period last year. However, the loss attributable to owners of the company was HK$27.84 million, which widened by 28.83% year-on-year. The loss per share was HK 2.83 cents.
The company stated that the growth in revenue was primarily due to the successful completion of several large-scale solar power system projects during the period. The increase in loss was mainly attributed to shortages in the supply of critical systems and chips for data centers, caused by geopolitical factors. This situation has led to continued delays in the development of the smart city industry. Consequently, the Group's Smart City Solutions business experienced a significant decline in both revenue and operational performance.
