Bumitama Agri Ltd (P8Z.SI) saw its stock price soaring by 4.76% in Tuesday's pre-market trading following the release of its impressive first-half 2025 financial results and a dividend announcement. The palm oil producer reported a significant improvement in its performance, with revenue climbing 28.2% and net profit surging 50.9% compared to the same period last year.

According to the company's financial report, Bumitama Agri's revenue for the first half of 2025 reached IDR 9,742.713 billion, up from IDR 7,600.129 billion in 1H2024. The substantial increase was primarily attributed to higher average selling prices of palm products. Despite a 23.6% rise in the cost of sales, the company's gross profit showed remarkable growth of 43.0%, amounting to IDR 2,572.728 billion. The net profit for the period stood at IDR 1,511.910 billion, marking a 50.9% increase from the previous year.

Adding to the positive sentiment, Bumitama Agri also announced an interim dividend of 3.63 Singapore cents per share, further boosting investor confidence. The company's quarterly performance was equally impressive, with revenue reaching 5.15 trillion Rupiah and net profit of 770.70 billion Rupiah. These strong financial results, coupled with the attractive dividend payout, likely contributed to the significant uptick in the stock price as investors responded favorably to the company's robust performance and shareholder returns.
