NOVOSENSE (02676) saw its shares surge more than 12% in the afternoon session, reaching an intraday high of HK$235.4 and setting a new record since its listing. As of the latest update, the stock was up 9.44% to HK$227.2, with a trading volume of HK$262 million.

Market reports indicate that major manufacturers including Texas Instruments, NXP Semiconductors, MPS, and Richtek (under MediaTek) plan to raise product prices between June and July. Companies such as Anpec Electronics and Silergy have also initiated price adjustment negotiations. Recently, the wave of price increases in the semiconductor industry has fully extended to power management integrated circuits (ICs) and core materials. Notably, this round of price hikes is not driven by strong end-demand but is primarily a result of rising costs in wafer fabrication and packaging and testing. Previously, microcontrollers (MCUs) and driver ICs led the price increases, and now power management ICs have officially followed suit.

Guosheng Securities anticipates that as the power requirements for AI servers continue to grow, the average selling price (ASP) of related analog chips for power supply will maintain an upward trend. NOVOSENSE, with its forward-looking product strategy, is expected to continuously expand its revenue exposure in the AI power supply sector.
