Major Shareholder of Wellcell H-NEW to Divest Substantial Stake

It has been announced that WELLCELL H-NEW (ASX: 02477) will see a significant change in its shareholder structure.

On June 10, 2026, the company's principal shareholder, Wellcell Group, acting as the seller, entered into three separate sale agreements to divest a total of 576 million company shares to three individuals. The agreed sale price for each share is HK$0.3445.

Following the completion of this share sale, and assuming no other changes to the company's share capital structure or the number of issued shares, Wellcell Group's remaining shareholding will be reduced from 664 million shares to 88 million shares. This remaining stake will represent approximately 2.2% of the company's total issued share capital. Consequently, Wellcell Group will no longer hold the status of a principal shareholder in the company.
