With the opening of two ramps connecting the main line of Science Avenue (Bafu direction) to Gaosheng Avenue, the Nongma Interchange has achieved full operation. Key projects such as the Tanggui Tunnel in the Yuchang Expressway Link Road Project have achieved dual-line breakthroughs, while the first section of the Xinyanweishan Tunnel Project has passed final acceptance. On November 2, the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission announced that the city is accelerating its "Major Infrastructure Construction Campaign," with multiple "road-bridge-tunnel" projects making significant progress.

**Tanggui Tunnel Achieves Dual-Line Breakthrough** The Tanggui Tunnel, a critical node in the Yuchang Expressway Link Road Project (from Shilong Interchange to Haiteng Interchange), has achieved dual-line breakthrough, expediting the overall construction progress. As an urban expressway section of the Yuchang Expressway, the 613-meter-long tunnel features six lanes in both directions.

The Yuchang Expressway Link Road connects major routes such as the Inner Ring Expressway, Yuhang Avenue, Nanjiang Avenue, and the Ring Expressway. It serves as a key corridor linking the northeastern Chongqing area within the city’s "8 Horizontal, 7 Vertical, 9 Connector" expressway network. Additionally, it strengthens the integration of highways and expressways in the metropolitan area, enhancing connectivity in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.

Upon completion, the project will optimize the expressway network in the central urban area, alleviate traffic pressure on the Yuchang Expressway, and ease congestion in areas such as Danzishi, Jiguan Stone, and Tangjia Tuo, boosting regional economic growth.

**Xinyanweishan Tunnel Passes Final Acceptance** The first section of the Xinyanweishan Tunnel Project has successfully passed final acceptance, laying a solid foundation for its full operation. Located north of the Jiqing Tunnel on the Inner Ring Road in Banan District, the 6.8-kilometer project features six lanes in both directions. It includes a 2.5-kilometer-long tunnel and two interchanges (Nanwenquan and Kuzhuba).

Once completed, the tunnel will provide seamless access from Dadukou District, via the Baijusi Yangtze River Bridge and Xinyanweishan Tunnel, to the Inner Ring Road, Yuchang Expressway, and its parallel route.

**Lijiatuo Auxiliary Bridge South Approach 57% Complete** The Lijiatuo Auxiliary Bridge South Approach Project has achieved a major milestone with the successful installation of its first prefabricated box girder for the Two-Bridge Link Road, paving the way for the connection between Huatao Interchange and Huaxi Interchange. Current efforts focus on pillar construction at Ronghui Intersection, road widening on Hongguang Avenue, and steel box girder installation at Huaxi Interchange.

Overall, the project is 57% complete, with Mawangping Interchange at 98%, Huaxi Interchange at 43%, and Huatao Interchange at 84%.

As a key municipal project, the 2.43-kilometer south approach connects the Lijiatuo Auxiliary Bridge to Huatao Interchange on the Inner Ring Road, forming part of the planned Fourth Vertical Expressway. It enhances rapid transit between Banan and Jiulongpo Districts. The project includes upgrades to three interchanges: Mawangping, Huaxi, and Huatao.

The 859.8-meter Two-Bridge Link Road, featuring nine upper-structure spans, serves as a critical hub linking these interchanges.

**Nongma Interchange Fully Operational** The full opening of the Nongma Interchange was marked by the activation of two ramps connecting Science Avenue to Gaosheng Avenue. The upper level links Gaosheng Avenue to the Jiuyong Expressway, while the lower level connects to Science Avenue.

The newly opened section, with a 9-meter-wide, two-lane one-way design, facilitates direct access from Jiuyong Expressway to Science Avenue. The interchange significantly reduces travel time between Baishiyi Town, Huayan Tunnel, and Jiangjin District or Bafu Town, while improving logistics efficiency for nearby businesses accessing the Jiuyong Expressway.
