JD.com Restarts Wine Tasting Event After Nearly 20 Years, Hotel Rooms Sold Out in 30 Minutes

On September 16th, JD.com jointly held a "JD Wine Tasting Event" with Kweichow Moutai, marking the first such event in nearly 20 years. At the venue, Lu Bin, Director of BTG Hotels Group and Party Secretary and General Manager of Beijing International Hotel, stated that all rooms at Beijing International Hotel were completely sold out in just 30 minutes.

It was learned that at this wine tasting event, JD.com prepared 7 types of Moutai for attendees, including Kweichow Moutai 2025, vintage Moutai 2013, Kweichow Moutai 2010, aged Moutai 15 years, aged Moutai 30 years, aged Moutai 50 years, and iron cap Moutai 1992. According to reports, all 7 types of Moutai were available for unlimited consumption by attendees.

Additionally, the wine tasting event featured seven categories of cuisine: appetizer fruits (welcome seasonal fresh fruit platter), cold appetizers (exquisite cold platter with six surrounding dishes), Tan Palace signature dish (imperial jade nectar Buddha jumps over the wall), hot main dishes, staple foods, desserts, and specially prepared dishes by Dong Ge.
