Hong Kong-listed Bairong Inc. announced a proposal to change its corporate name to “Bairong AI Inc.”, aiming to better align branding with its expanding artificial-intelligence business anchored by the proprietary BR-LLM large language model and the enterprise AI-agent operating system, Bairong CybotStar.
The renaming requires two approvals:
1. Passage of a special resolution at the forthcoming annual general meeting (AGM). 2. Issuance of a Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands.
Once effective, the new name will be reflected on the Hong Kong stock exchange, with updated English and Chinese stock short names pending exchange confirmation. Existing share certificates remain valid; no replacement is necessary.
Management states the change underscores the company’s core focus on commercializing AI solutions across multiple industries while leaving shareholder rights and day-to-day operations unaffected.
A circular detailing the proposal and the AGM notice will be dispatched in due course. Bairong will release further announcements on the effective date of the name change and the new trading abbreviations when available.
