根据财报，爱奇艺第一季度总营收为71.9亿元人民币，同比下降9%。归属于爱奇艺的净利润为1.821亿元，同比大幅下滑72.21%。不按美国通用会计准则，净利润为3.044亿元，同比下降63.95%。这些关键财务指标均显示公司业绩表现不及预期。
具体来看，爱奇艺各主要业务线收入均出现下滑：会员服务收入44亿元，同比下降8%；在线广告服务收入13.3亿元，同比下降10%；内容分发收入6.287亿元，同比大幅下滑32%。公司解释称，会员服务收入下滑主要由于与去年同期相比内容较少；广告收入下滑主要是品牌广告业务减少；内容分发收入下滑则由于与剧集相关的内容发行收入减少，以及投资的院线电影发行收入降低。
尽管公司在成本控制方面取得一定成效，总成本同比下降4%，但收入的大幅下滑仍导致盈利能力显著下降。投资者对爱奇艺的业绩表现和未来增长前景产生担忧，导致股价在财报发布后出现大幅下跌。
