15th VARA Conference Opens in Tianjin: Zhou Hongyi Warns Single Vulnerability Can Breach Systems

The 15th Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analysis and Risk Assessment Conference (VARA) commenced in Tianjin. Established in 2008, VARA has become a premier annual event in China's cybersecurity sector, serving as a key platform for collaboration among government, industry, academia, and research institutions.

At the conference's Network Vulnerability Governance Ecosystem sub-forum, 360 Digital Security Technology Group received two major honors from the China National Vulnerability Database (CNNVD) and the China Information Technology Security Evaluation Center: "2025 Outstanding Technical Support Organization" and "CNNVD Collaborative Software/Hardware Excellence in Vulnerability Management."

360 Group founder Zhou Hongyi delivered a keynote address, emphasizing that vulnerabilities have fundamentally reshaped cybersecurity dynamics. "Attackers no longer need brute-force methods—a single exploit via malicious email or crafted data packet can bypass traditional defenses like firewalls," he warned. He expressed particular concern about emerging "hacker AI agents," which could further widen the asymmetry in cyber warfare.

As the first company to adopt AI agent-driven security, 360 has developed multiple specialized security agents powered by large security models, knowledge bases, workflow systems, and dedicated tools. These agents replicate the capabilities of top human security experts, enabling rapid response to threats—including countering malicious AI agents.

Notably, 360's Vulnerability Mining Swarm Agent, developed through its AI Agent Factory, automates vulnerability analysis and discovery. Operators simply input vulnerability IDs to trigger end-to-end automated processing without human intervention.

"AI represents both a new frontier for productivity/defense and an unprecedented risk vector," Zhou stated. "360 stands ready to collaborate across sectors to fortify our digital security foundations."
