Cambridge Industries Group (CIG) saw its stock price surge 10.02% during intraday trading on Tuesday, marking a significant upward movement for the Hong Kong-listed company.

The stock's strong performance comes amid active trading in the CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) concept sector, with the company benefiting from robust demand for its high-speed optical modules. CIG's annualized production capacity has reached 3.5 million units operating at high utilization rates, with its 1.6T optical modules having completed small-batch deliveries and mass shipments being arranged.

Additionally, the company's 800G silicon photonics modules are in volume delivery to core North American clients, supported by strong first-quarter financial results. CIG reported revenue of RMB 1.287 billion for Q1, representing a 43.98% year-over-year increase, while net profit attributable to shareholders surged 276.44% to RMB 118 million, driven primarily by rapid scaling of its high-speed optical module business.
