Prudential repurchases 0.02% of its shares on Mar, 11 2026

Prudential plc announced that it bought back 423,938 ordinary shares on Mar, 11 2026 via the London Stock Exchange for a total consideration of about 7.9 million Singapore dollars.

The repurchased shares will be cancelled, trimming the insurer’s issued share capital by roughly 0.02%. The company also cancelled 375,388 shares on the same day that had been repurchased on Mar, 9 2026, bringing its outstanding share count to approximately 2.53 billion.

In addition, Prudential has a further 291,757 shares repurchased on Mar, 10 2026 and 423,938 shares repurchased on Mar, 11 2026 awaiting cancellation.

Since the current buyback authority was approved on May, 14 2025, the company has repurchased about 74.3 million shares, equal to 2.85% of the share base at the time of the mandate. Under listing rules, Prudential is barred from issuing new shares until Apr, 10 2026 following the latest buyback.
