Concord New Energy (Concord NE) published its tenth Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing 2025 performance and medium-term targets.

• Clean-energy portfolio – The Group’s attributable installed capacity rose to 4,928 MW (wind 4,044 MW; solar 884 MW). Attributable power generation increased to 8,586 GWh, underpinning RMB 2.54 billion in revenue and RMB 33.16 billion in total assets.

• Climate impact – Output from wind and solar assets displaced 8.16 million tonnes of CO₂e, 3.33 million tonnes of standard coal, 2,117 tonnes of NOx and 2,030 tonnes of SO₂, while saving 13.13 million tonnes of water. The Group executed 1.25 billion kWh of green-electricity trades during the year and has transacted 3.60 billion kWh cumulatively.

• Emissions inventory – Scope 1 emissions totalled 446 tCO₂e; market-based Scope 2 emissions 10,915 tCO₂e; Scope 3 emissions 227,397 tCO₂e. All 2025 environmental targets, including annual energy-saving and office electricity-reduction goals, were met.

• Governance – Independent directors account for 41.7 % of the 12-member board; female representation is 33.3 %. ESG oversight is anchored by a board-level ESG Committee, and climate-related metrics weigh more than 10 % in executive remuneration.

• Safety and labour – Zero work-related fatalities were recorded. Female employees represent 28.2 % of the workforce; 100 % of staff received training, averaging 22.97 hours each. The Group’s employee mutual-fund and expanded health-screening programme covered all staff.

• Supply chain – All first-tier engineering-equipment suppliers underwent ESG screening; ISO 9001/14001/45001 certification rates reached 100 % across the critical vendor base.

• Recognition – Concord NE entered the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, one of three Asian power companies selected, and its Beijing management centre achieved LEED Gold certification.

The Board confirmed that all short-term environmental objectives have been achieved and progress on medium- and long-term carbon-reduction targets is on track.
