Magna International's stock surged 5.50% in pre-market trading following the release of its fourth-quarter financial results and 2026 guidance.
The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.18 for the fourth quarter, significantly beating the analyst consensus estimate of $1.79 and representing a 28.99% increase from the same period last year. Quarterly sales came in at $10.848 billion, also above the $10.495 billion estimate and up 2.07% year-over-year.
Additionally, Magna provided optimistic guidance for 2026, projecting adjusted EPS in the range of $6.25 to $7.25, with the midpoint exceeding the FactSet estimate of $6.10. The company expects 2026 sales between $41.9 billion and $43.5 billion, roughly in line with market expectations.
