ROKAE (Shandong) Robotics Group Inc. reported H1 2026 revenue of RMB414.65 million, more than doubling year-on-year (+135.8%) on rapid uptake of its embodied intelligent robots, which contributed 33.5% of sales. Total robot shipments exceeded 13,000 units versus about 4,000 a year earlier.

Statutory net loss attributable to shareholders narrowed 12.6% to RMB79.0 million, while adjusted net profit turned positive at RMB18.35 million, reversing a RMB35.15 million adjusted loss in H1 2025. Gross margin expanded 7.5 percentage points to 29.8%, driven by economies of scale and an improved product mix.

Segment performance • Industrial robots: Revenue rose 69% to RMB150.03 million, representing 36.2% of group turnover. • Flexible collaborative robots: Sales climbed 72% to RMB104.91 million (25.3% of revenue). • Embodied intelligent robots: Revenue surged to RMB139.10 million (34.0% of revenue) from a negligible base last year. • Robotic solutions and other services generated RMB20.61 million, down 29.1% year-on-year, reflecting a shift to higher-margin hardware sales.

Cost of sales increased 113.1% to RMB291.27 million. Operating cash flow turned positive versus an outflow in the prior-year period. Cash and cash equivalents stood at RMB115.90 million at 30 June 2026, up from RMB14.80 million at end-2025, supported by maturities of bank wealth-management products. Term deposits and financial assets at fair value totaled RMB271.83 million.

Expenditure accelerated to underpin growth: R&D outlays rose 146.6% to RMB63.90 million; selling and marketing expenses grew 75.2% to RMB58.10 million, reflecting expanded global promotion. Other income, mainly government R&D subsidies and interest, quadrupled to RMB22.05 million.

Balance-sheet metrics showed a shareholders’ deficit of RMB1.22 billion, widened by accumulated losses and preferred-share redemption liabilities of RMB2.10 billion recorded pre-IPO. Subsequent to the reporting date, ROKAE completed a Hong Kong listing on 9 July 2026, raising HKD937.10 million in net proceeds; the preferred rights ended upon listing, leading to derecognition of the related redemption liabilities.

Strategy & outlook Management plans to reinforce industrial and collaborative robot lines, scale commercialization of embodied-intelligence products, intensify R&D in control systems and force-controlled joints, enhance supply-chain efficiency, and broaden overseas sales networks. The company targets long-term growth as a “physical AI” infrastructure provider, supported by its recently expanded capital base.
