Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Z74) said on Feb, 1 2026 that it remains in advanced discussions, as part of a consortium, about a possible transaction involving STT GDC Pte. Ltd. following a Wall Street Journal report suggesting a KKR-led group could buy the data-centre operator for more than 10 billion Singapore dollars.
The company emphasised that the talks may not result in any definitive or binding agreement and stated it will make further announcements in line with Singapore Exchange rules if material developments occur.
Singtel advised investors to exercise caution when dealing in its securities until an official update is issued.
