Hyperfine (NASDAQ: HYPR) has announced the official launch of its next-generation Swoop portable MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) system in the European market, a key milestone in the company's international commercial expansion strategy.

The system has now received CE marking and UKCA certification and is commercially available in the initial group of European countries. The new Swoop system incorporates the latest Optive AI software, delivering significant improvements in image quality, workflow efficiency, and clinical capabilities.

Eric Willis, Vice President of International Business at Hyperfine, stated that the company is proud to bring the most advanced portable MRI technology to clinicians across Europe and the UK, noting that the imaging quality enhancements in the new system are transformative. The company plans to expand the availability of the Model 2 Swoop system across all European markets where it has sales representation by the end of the year, utilizing its distributor partner network.

Professor Steve Williams, a neuroimaging expert at King's College London, commented on the remarkable technological progress seen since the early days of portable MRI development, expressing his impression with the diagnostic-grade images produced by this low-field system.

In the French market, the system has been included on the UniHA procurement list, facilitating broader adoption within the French public hospital system.

This European launch follows recent positive commercial momentum for Hyperfine. The company was previously announced for inclusion in the Russell 2000 Index and reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of $3.9 million, an 83% year-over-year increase, with a gross margin of 51%. The company anticipates full-year revenue to be in the range of $20 million to $22 million.
