NEW CITY DEV (00456) announced that the board proposes to seek shareholders' approval via an ordinary resolution at an extraordinary general meeting to increase its authorized share capital from HK$40 million (divided into 200 million shares) to HK$400 million (divided into 2 billion shares) by creating an additional 1.8 billion unissued shares. The new shares will rank equally in all respects with existing shares.
