有机半导体材料开发商Smartkem日前宣布，已与一家全球消费电子巨头达成概念验证合作协议，双方将共同探索MicroLED技术在下一代可穿戴设备领域的应用潜力。此次合作标志着Smartkem的TRUFLEX®印刷电子材料技术首次切入微型显示赛道，为柔性可穿戴设备市场带来突破性解决方案。
根据协议条款，双方将基于Smartkem创新的低温溶液处理工艺，开发高分辨率MicroLED显示原型。该技术有望显著降低MicroLED制造复杂度，突破传统光刻工艺在柔性基板上的应用限制。若概念验证阶段成果达到预期，合作将进入商业化量产评估阶段。
