Millennium & Copthorne Hotels signs new five-year lease for Grand Millennium Auckland

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand Limited (MCK) announced on Nov, 25 2025 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Hospitality Services Limited, has signed a new management lease agreement with CDLHT (BVI) One Ltd for the Grand Millennium Auckland hotel.

The lease commenced on Nov, 24 2025 and will run for five years, with an additional five-year renewal option subject to mutual agreement. The rental framework remains the same as in the final year of the previous lease, and the deal was negotiated on an arm’s length basis and on normal commercial terms.

With 453 rooms, Grand Millennium Auckland is situated in central Auckland close to major commercial buildings and convention venues. The hotel has recently undergone significant refurbishment, earned a Qualmark New Zealand 5-star rating, and is expected to benefit from the City Rail Link scheduled to open in 2026.
