According to a report from Tass news agency, which cited an online flight tracking system, a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III transport aircraft departed from Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, made a stopover in Latvia, and landed at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport at approximately 10 a.m. local time. Tass later reported that the C-17 left Moscow on Tuesday evening and headed back toward Latvia.

When questioned by journalists, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin, declined to offer any remarks regarding the aircraft. He stated that the Kremlin has no scheduled meetings with US government officials this week. CBS had previously reported on the visit.

The specific topics of the talks remain unclear, but the trip comes at a time when there has been an uptick in Russian sabotage activities across Europe. The US Embassy in Moscow has also not responded to requests for comment.
