北京时间5月13日公布的数据显示，美国4月通胀涨幅整体低于市场预期，核心通胀符合预期，显示物价压力正在缓解。
具体来看，4月核心CPI同比增长2.8%，与市场预期和前值一致；环比增长0.2%，略低于预期的0.3%，但高于前值的0.1%。整体CPI同比增长2.3%，低于预期的2.4%，也低于前值2.4%；环比增长0.2%，同样低于预期的0.3%，而前值为-0.1%。
根据CPI报告显示，机票、二手车和服装价格有所下降。杂货价格也出现了近一年来的首次下跌，其中鸡蛋价格的跌幅更是创下了1984年以来的最大跌幅。新车价格保持不变，这与此前预计的关税影响下的价格上涨有所不同。
然而，家具和电器等主要进口商品的价格却出现了上涨。
交易员继续押注美联储将于9月进行首次降息，将于10月第二次降息。
数据公布后，金融市场迅速做出反应：
美元指数短线走低约10点，现报101.45；
美股期货上涨，纳斯达克100指数期货涨幅达0.4%；
美国10年期国债收益率短线回落，现报4.455%；
现货黄金波动不大，报3258.77美元/盎司。
