FedEx has issued a warning to customers about possible shipment delays after halting flights to major airports in the Middle East. The shipping giant operates a hub in Dubai and announced in February 2024 a $350 million investment to build a facility there.
FedEx stated that pickup and delivery services in Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates have been "temporarily suspended until further notice," adding that delays may also affect other markets in the region.
"We are closely monitoring the situation and will resume services as soon as it is safe to do so," FedEx said.
