Xunce (03317) experienced a significant surge in trading volume and price during the afternoon session, with gains exceeding 15%. As of the latest update, the stock was up 14.64%, trading at 260 Hong Kong dollars.

The rally follows a press conference held by China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on May 22. During the conference, Li Chao, Deputy Director of the NDRC's Policy Research Office and spokesperson, announced that supporting documents are being formulated to accelerate the implementation of "AI+" initiatives. These measures aim to enhance resource allocation and support for the sector. Li also stated that guidance will be provided to encourage domestic large-scale AI models to increase their compatibility with domestically produced computing chips.

In a recent research report, Kaiyuan Securities noted that continuous advancements in global multimodal AI technology are underway. Domestic AI models have achieved localized advantages in video and audio generation, significantly accelerating their commercialization process. The report forecasts a substantial increase in token usage by leading models by 2026, which is expected to deeply empower downstream industries such as video, gaming, and marketing. The explosion of multimodal applications is further widening the computing power gap, driving high demand in computing power leasing and AI data center (AIDC) industry chains. This trend presents broad market opportunities for the media and internet sectors.
