Recently, to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of children during the winter break and promote the popularization of art for all, the 2026 Winter Break Free Children's Art Training Class, organized by the Fumin County Cultural Center, has officially commenced.
The training program is a concrete practice aimed at deepening cultural benefits for the public and cultivating the cultural literacy of young people. It offers children an "artistic winter break gift package," allowing them to spend their vacation meaningfully. The training period lasts five days and covers ten categories, including drum sets, creative art, and calligraphy, attracting nearly 200 children to register.
The courses balance tradition and trends, preserving classic programs such as calligraphy and Chinese dance to pass on traditional culture, while also introducing new features like archery—a county-level intangible cultural heritage project. This enables children to experience the charm of intangible cultural heritage through diverse activities, enhancing their comprehensive literacy and contributing to the living inheritance of cultural heritage.
To ensure teaching quality, the training program adopts a tiered teaching approach based on students' age and foundational knowledge. Professional teachers use fun and interactive methods to deliver lessons, allowing children to experience the appeal of art and improve their skills in a relaxed atmosphere.
