Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County Federation of Trade Unions Hosts Female Health Awareness Lecture

On December 9, the Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County Federation of Trade Unions organized a Female Health awareness lecture, inviting Fu Jiuyuan, Deputy Chief Physician of the Obstetrics Department at Chengde Medical College Affiliated Hospital, to deliver insights on HPV infection and cervical cancer prevention to over 200 female employees at Chengde Jingcheng Mining and Jinglian Group.

During the lecture, Fu Jiuyuan provided detailed explanations on HPV transmission routes, cervical cancer pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, and preventive measures, using relatable case studies to simplify complex medical concepts. She emphasized that "regular gynecological check-ups are the critical defense against cervical cancer" and highlighted the importance of "early detection, diagnosis, and treatment" to reduce mortality rates.

In the interactive session, attendees actively engaged with questions, which Fu addressed thoroughly. Participants expressed appreciation for the comprehensive understanding gained, pledging greater attention to personal health and encouraging peers to prioritize regular screenings.

Moving forward, the Federation plans to expand targeted health education initiatives to better support workers' well-being.
