At the "2026 Boao Sina Finance Night" event held on March 25 in Boao, themed "Competing with Intelligence: The Industrial Revolution and New Global Rules in the AI Era," Liu Yingchun, Vice President of Sunshine Insurance Group Co., Ltd., proposed that establishing long-term customer relationships in the non-compulsory commercial insurance sector requires achieving "three transcendences."
He stated that the first transcendence involves building ecological service capabilities that go beyond the insurance policy itself. "Insurance is not an absolute necessity like drinking water; what clients want is not the policy itself, but secure happiness." This refers to ecological services tailored to full-life-cycle needs: integrating and coordinating medical resources and providing green channels for healthcare when ill, and offering quality, dignified health and wellness plans in old age, rather than simply paying out pensions.
The second transcendence is using technology to transform contractual warmth, turning originally cold insurance contracts into warm service vehicles through technological empowerment, thereby bridging the distance with customers.
The third transcendence is fulfilling responsibilities that go beyond profits. Liu Yingchun emphasized that insurance is not only about "protection" but also about "benevolence." Sunshine Insurance has always adhered to the business philosophy of "Love and Responsibility." Only by proactively fulfilling responsibilities at critical moments, such as national emergencies, and aligning with customers in terms of responsibility and values, can companies genuinely earn customers' deep trust by making them feel the company's commitment.
